Conservatories

Conservatories are a fantastic way to add extra space to your home without the need for extensive, expensive building work. Whether you are looking to add more space and light to your home or you would just like somewhere to sit back and admire your garden, a glazed extension could be the answer.

This is a relatively low cost, hassle free way to extend your living area, plus it can add value to your home.

A majority of conservatories are classed as 'permitted development' which eliminates the need for Planning permission- one less thing you'll need to worry about, however you'll have absolutely nothing to worry about with Owls windows.

We have a wide range of conservatory  styles to choose from, whether you like traditional, contemporary styles or something more modern, we are confident we can find something to fulfil your expectations.

Popular styles

Lean to conservatories

Edwardian conservatories

Victorian conservatories

The simplest and most common form of conservatory, it consists of a pitched roof with triangle frames at each side.  The benefit of this design is that it will fit most properties and allow good use of square area.

Victorian conservatories

A popular style distinguished by a faceted front, giving a curved appearance. A particular favourite with period properties, although the clean lines look great on any type of home.

Edwardian conservatories

(Also know as a Georgian) A flat fronted style offering excellent use of floor space due to the square or rectangular base. Its sloping roof and contemporary style is suited to most properties.

Lantern conservatories

This is sometimes thought of as the “original” style of conservatory.

The height of the two-tier roof provides extra light and space, and this design is often used for larger conservatories and swimming-pool enclosures.

Period homes are particularly well suited to lantern conservatories, with the grandeur they provide perhaps proving a better match for the property than more basic styles.

Gable conservatories

Lantern conservatories

Gable conservatories

Flat, gabled fronts allow huge quantities of light inside, This light-enhancing roof is combined with a rectangular shape; it's a perfect choice for gardens with limited space.

Considered a more classical conservatory design, they make a wonderful addition to older styles of homes.
